TOfutti Shredded CHeese
TOFFUTI SHREDDED CHEESE- I went to The Toffuti Brand website yesterday, gave them a call & they gave me the number of the distributors in my area. Their They said to look in ANY Kosher meat market Shop Rite, or Pathmark.-Shari
Hi- Just wondering if any of you all are still having luck finding the Tofutti SHREDDED cheese. I used to buy it here, but now my grocery store and health food store are both reporting that their distributor said it's been discontinued. What a bummer-- my son really enjoys the mac & cheese I've been making with it. Please let me know if you're still able to find it and, if so, where. Many thanks, Jane in Madison, WI
FYI- I talked to the folks at Tofutti today. They have discontinued the shredded cheese substitute because they were having some problems with it's not staying fresh as long as they felt was needed. They still make the slices. Their plan is to reformulate the shredded cheese product and sell it at some point in the future. Oh well... Jane
I have unwrapped the slices then sliced them up to put on pizza. It's a little moe work, but then we're used to that ;-) Janette
