support group
Does anyone know of a good online support site for ASD parents? I don't want a lot of complaining, just a group that can understand and have suggestions...I don't have time to search for one. I just got Lisa's book delivered today. My ASD daughter said,"ooo, recipes!" when the UPS man pulled up. She knows I have been anxiously awaiting it. I can't wait to start cooking. I am getting tired of the same old thing and too new at this to feel comfortable venturing out... Also, after 3 weeks on gfcf diet(and wonderful, amazing, incredible results seen!!!!)Jane has started telling me "head hurt"(after eating dog food-which I have discovered she continues to crave and crawled under the dryer today to reach some stray nuggets. Yuck.)and "cry and cry" when offered grapes(after bad reaction). She is only 2 1/2 but I really think she knows what her body can and cannot tolerate. Am I being gullible(sp?) or have any of you had a similar reaction from your child at such a young age? Thanks again, Janelle
