Lori Has your child had any reaction to these? The GFCF diet site states that they will not guarantee cross contamination problems. Hugs, Terry.B

When this report was first posted on another list, I wrote to Ancient Harvest. The response was that only a unit of products shipped to Canada had gluten; and that problem was a packaging one - gluten noodles had gotten into some gf boxes during packaging and could be seen as being "different" in color. (Not that this made me feel any better about the standards exercized by this company.) Linda

What on earth do you all give your kids for snacks? With a 1 and 2 yo, I am desperate! I miss those Teddy Grahams, Goldfish, etc..If you suggest I make 150 little teddy grahams, you are out of your mind! :-) At least not at this point in the game! I use potato sticks, potato chips, tortilla chips. That about sums it up. Nuts are too little, don't want to give candy, watching the phenols so no raisins, frozen grapes, etc. I am looking for things I could find in the grocery store as that is where we are headed tomorrow morning after a delightful breakfast of pumpkin muffins and rice milk(thank you listmates). I am already spending a great deal of time each day baking. I cook double batches and have containers full of the Hagman mixes. We are getting a freezer at the end of the month(can't wait)I feel like I am back in the pioneer days, cooking and baking allll day. I enjoy it, but it is a bit stressful with my two little helpers. Today I let half of a double batch of the four bean flour mix fly alllll over my kitchen. The ziploc wasn't sealed completely.(That's it, I'm getting the zipper kind) The kids loved it and played on the tile floor in the soft flours. It is awful to clean up as it is so fine. Anyway, I need to get going as I must make 1,000 chicken nuggets and freeze them. By the way, the diet is working wonders and worth every effort we put in to it! They have awesome snacks, not quite teddy grahams:) GFCF pretzels some gfcf cookies etc. Really good cookie is Pamelas cookies the chunky choc chip and ginger almond. Some are not entirely CF but those two are. Ive found Pamelas cookies at my HFS but also miss robens sells them. Tiffany

Janelle- I hope you are keeping all of the posts you write. You write very well and I love to read them. They would make a great book on the trails and tribulations of GFCF cooking! Wish I had some snack ideas, but I am only on the 3rd week of this myself. If I come up with anything, I will post it. Jane
