Ritz-like crackers & Choc. Chip Cookies

Thanks!!! It mentions that the cookies require a hard fat/substitute. This is pretty new to me; is Crisco shortening CF? Ghee is pretty expensive and strong...what do you use? THX again!! Crystal

Crystal, My son likes chocolate chip cookies too. However, he didn't like the crunchy ones from miss roben's. He instead likes the versatile cookie mix. I add soy free chips to this and they are good. Even my daughter likes them. I use soy free mother's margarine as the butter, energ egg replacer. I sometimes use coconut butter if I am low on margarine. This mix lets you use substitutes, and you could try raisins instead. Phyllis K.

He longs for round "Ritz-like" crackers & CC cookies. Miss Robens' advertises Snack Croackers from Bi-Aglut that seem to fit the bill and the Miss Robens Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix. Has anyone tried these? Any good?

We ordered them from Miss Robens and liked them. I've tried one recipe to make my own, but they weren't very good. I ended up making mock Heath Bars with them, which were quite good. (If you add enough sugar and chocolate to anything, it's bound to taste good! ;-) Janette
