Rice Protein Shake

Well gang, I posted last week asking for information about a rice based protein shake- this was for me not the kids. Have not had any luck finding one. There is one called Ultra Clear- but we need a physician to order this for you they do not deal with the public. In case anyone wants that number 1-800-692-9400 if you are working with a physician. the lady stated that it can cause side effects and you need to be under care- so this did not sound like something I wanted. Hi Joan. I think I might be able to help here. I saw Dr. Cave in November and we discussed this specific issue. She once recommended the UltraClear product for her patients, but has recently switched to something called MediClear by Thorne - a rice protein shake (20 mg protein) with a lot of additional nutrients. She said it is wonderful, reasonably priced (the main reason for the switch) and she drinks a smoothie with this base every morning. I have used it for 10 weeks with no adverse side effects...you can order it from the vitamin shoppe or from the needs catalog. Kelly

There is rice protein powder that you can add to your baking and rice milk. Have you thought of trying that? :O) Ash
