Recipes using corn flour toritillas
Hi, Does anyone have any GFCF recipes using corn flour tortillas? I bought some today and just don't know what to do with them. :-) Charlene

I make little pizzas with them by putting tomato sauce and peperoni on them and heating it in the toaster oven for a few minutes. Also, I make bean tacos (my son won't eat meat). Some refried bean tacos have wheat so you have to read the labels. Shawn
What a GREAT idea..I have made PB&J sandwiches which did not go over really well, but I had never thought about pizza. Guess what my son is going to have for lunch today..... Thanks for the tip.. Jeri
We use them (and corn taco shells) in place of breads. The "wrap" and donair are really popular right now, and these tortillas are a really easy way to replace the wheat wraps. Our McDs will even use them to make a hamburger for us, if we bring them in. Try filling them with scrambled eggs, chicken or beef strips with lettuce or things like that. PS, they taste better if you freshen them in the microwave first. Keep them sealed in the frig or they will dry out. If they do dry out, cut them into triangles and bake them in the oven for a few minutes to have homemade tortilla chips.
