Bread machine?

Ok question for all you in the know! Do I need a bread machine? Can I make quick breads in a bread maker??? I have a cusanart, and scored big time this weekend with a Heavy duty top of the line brand new kitchenaid mixer (the 5 qt one) for only $175.00!!!! So should I keep the bread maker or take it back?!?! thanks, Laurie Mom to Grace 4.4

Laurie, that was a big score! I paid $165 for my 4 1/2 quart KitchenAid. Take the bread machine back and use that money for something else. Your KitchenAid will do everything but bake the bread. Of course, that is my personal opinion but my mom has a bread machine and the only bread that my family likes that comes from it was her raisin bread. And her bread is not gfcf.
